Wow, what a way to wrap up February! The sunny days had everyone—dogs included—out and about, making it feel like summer arrived early. With more daylight (don’t forget the change in your clocks to spring forward, Sunday, March 9th at 2:00 am) and the first signs of spring blooms, there’s a sense of renewal in the air.
If you’re feeling inspired to make a move this year, now is a great time to start planning. As we enter the heart of the selling season, we’ve seen a slight dip in interest rates, offering some relief to buyers who have been waiting on the sidelines. While we hope for further improvements later this year, it’s unlikely we’ll ever see the ultra-low rates of the pandemic era again.
For sellers, this means pricing your home strategically is more important than ever. February saw an unusually high number of price reductions for an early spring market, a clear sign that buyers remain sensitive to interest rates and overall costs. We closely monitor market trends and can help position your home for success when the time comes. And finally, a note of gratitude to everyone who has trusted me with their important moves. I was honored to be named the top individual agent in my office, the #15 Agent in the five State PNW and the top 100 agents in the metro area of nearly 10,000+ agents. This does not happen without a lot of folks helping to get me there, including the awesome Heidi Norrington, Lisa Neef and Jen Beyrle. And, yes all of you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your trust and support.
