Spring is in full bloom here in Oregon, and I couldn’t be happier to see the vibrant bursts of color everywhere I turn. Our neighborhoods are furnished with lush green canopies and a dazzling array of flowering plants, painting a picturesque backdrop for the homes we hold dear. This view makes my heart happy.

Amidst this beauty, the spring selling market is in full swing with inventory levels on the rise, offering some relief from the shortages we’ve experienced in recent years. However, this landscape is evolving, with higher interest rates posing new challenges for buyers. While home prices have remained steady in the first quarter of 2024, the future is a bit uncertain with interest rates potentially on the rise and market dynamics shifting, be assured we are focused on staying informed to answer any questions you may have along the way.

As always, if it is your time to make a change, we are here to serve as your trusted fiduciary, advocating for your best interests every step of the way. With extensive experience and resources, you can trust we will guide you or your friends and family home with confidence. Enjoy our glorious spring as we head towards blue skies.

Answers to Your Important Real Estate Questions

If you are a Buyer we will need to have a signed agreement in advance of showing you any homes to outline how the Buyer Agent services will be paid. If you are a Seller, this is a discussion we will have when listing your home. In the end, if you choose to offer concessions in the listing that can be used to pay the Buyer Agent compensation, it will largely depend on how you price your home and how robust the market is in your location. Keep in mind, after about 100 years of doing business this way, it is a test case for all of us. Know our focus will be on our clients’ needs.
